Brain got stuck while doing assignment... So I did a short yoga at home ... A little thought about yoga to share about. I have been doing yoga for 3years, with the initial intention to lose weight. Slowly, I have changed my perspective on yoga. Instead of taking it as a sport, I am no think it's a supplement for my body and soul. Somehow it helps me to focus and concentrate (I have a problem in focusing my mind at all time). During the yoga, I can feel the interaction between the body and mind, how my mind ask for the muscle and body alignment to move, and how the body send back the message on its limit and capability. From taking it as an exercise to burn fat to a thinking of "it's all about the poses" and now is all about myself. Through the years, the progress I been through was an interesting path and how much I see I've learnt and improved all these while. I am glad that I have met so many great yoga guru along the journey, friends that share all the tips and knowledge with me..... Everyone of them painted my yoga journey with a very interesting story line... I once fell down from an inversion, and was caught in the phobia quite some time. I am lucky to met the teachers who didn't forced me to do inversion again, but helped me in getting back on track with slow progress for my mind and confidence on myself Again.... I wouldn't say I am good and have mastered yoga, but I can't deny on how much stronger I feel as time goes by... How much I've change both physically and mentally. Thanks a lot to all my teachers who taught me and friends who have shared the knowledge and tips with me.. 学瑜伽也三年多了。减肥是我学瑜伽最初的目的。日子久了,就慢慢改观。冲把它当作是一种减肥的运动,变成注重在姿势的运动,现在是心灵和身体的需要。做瑜伽的时候,感觉像是和自己沟通的空间,抽出一点点的时间给自己,那么一段了解自己的时间和空间。做瑜伽时,我得专心也得要懂得怎么去调整身体的每个部位,与自己的身体沟通,了解它,哪里需要修补,哪里可以再改进变地更好。很庆幸的事,一路以来,都遇到了不少的好老师。他们的指导和解释,改变了我,帮助了我很多。也感谢瑜伽的朋友常给我很多很有帮助的小贴士和知识。这些,都让我的瑜伽道路充满活力与色彩,让我继续学习和享受。曾经从倒立姿势跌伤过,因此对任何一样倒立姿势都会有了恐惧感(维持了一年多)。老师们都没有逼我上去倒立的姿势,反而让我从基本开始,很仔细地解释,也给我许多的贴士,慢慢建立回我的信心。这是个没有尽头的旅程,除非,我把它画上句号。感谢这三年来遇见的每一位。与其说现在可以把瑜伽掌握得很好,很柔软,懂得很多姿势,不如说,我变得比以前壮了,身体的毛病一一揭发也陆续改善,继续努力学习和享受。期待来日的体验和学习。#yoga #michellesiao #有感而发 #瑜伽
